Chris 'Kammy' Kamara was born in Middlesbrough in 1957. He is of Sierra Leonean, English and Irish descent.
 
In his career as a professional footballer Kammy played for Portsmouth, Swindon Town, Brentford, Stoke City, Leeds United, Luton Town,  Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Bradford City, playing over 650 games.
 
After finishing his playing career he had two spells as a manager at Bradford City, winning promotion via the 1996 play-off finals, and at Stoke City.
 
After his spell as management, a career in the media followed and Kammy is seen weekly presenting Sky Sports' Goals On Sunday show and providing additional commentary on some of Sky's televised matches.
 
He also appears on the Soccer Saturday programme,  usually over live video link,  providing brief updates on whichever match he is watching. He is well-known on the programme for his highly excitable nature, propensity for comical gaffes and tendency to come out with unusual sayings that baffle host Jeff Stelling and the other studio pundits.

Former professional footballer who played over 650 games for various clubs and also managed Bradford City and Stoke City. Now a pundit on Sky Sports and on Soccer Saturday.
