Steve Backshall is a BAFTA award-winning wildlife expert, natural history presenter, author, speaker and conservationist. His recent work includes The Secret Life of Bees (Channel 5), alongside Ice Age: A Frozen Planet, Deadly 60 Series 5, Whale with Steve Backshall and the BBC series Our Changing Planet. He is best known as the face of the Deadly franchise, with Deadly 60 earning him a BAFTA for Best Children’s Presenter.
Steve is also an established live performer, with multiple sell-out tours across the UK and Australia. His latest show Ocean received critical acclaim, and he continues to tour with Deadly 60 Live, combining stunts, live demonstrations and storytelling.
