Best known as 'Athena' on BBC One's Gladiators, Karenjeet has built a career defined by resilience, ambition and consistently performing under pressure. She is a Commonwealth Powerlifting Champion, multiple-time British Champion, Guinness World Record holder and the first British Sikh female to represent Great Britain at both the World and European Powerlifting Championships.

Before becoming a recognised television personality, she qualified as an ACA Chartered Accountant and progressed to Audit Assistant Manager at a Big Four accounting firm. Having experienced the realities of corporate life first-hand, she understands the challenges organisations face every day, from leading high-performing teams and managing competing priorities to navigating change, maintaining wellbeing and delivering results in demanding environments.

In recognition of her contribution to sport and the British Sikh community, she was invited to 10 Downing Street for the Prime Minister's Diwali Reception, where she was selected to speak directly with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer about her achievements, inspiring future generations and increasing representation in sport.
Karenjeet is also a published author, contributing a chapter to The Power of an Educated Girl, an international anthology published by HarperCollins India in partnership with the Malala Fund. Alongside 24 other women from across the world, she shares her story to champion education, ambition and opportunity for young girls.
Away from the stage, Karenjeet proudly serves as an Ambassador for Birmingham Children's Hospital, using her platform to support one of the UK's leading children's hospitals through fundraising, advocacy and community engagement.
