Four
Olympic gold medals and seven World Championship golds makes Sir Matthew
Pinsent one of Britain's most successful athletes in any sport. The
coxless four's dominance of their event for the past four seasons is a
testament to Matthew's courage, ability and determination. What a brilliant
experience for any keynote or motivational speaker.
In 1992 Garry Herbert won an Olympic Gold Medal coxing
the Searle brothers in the Coxed Pairs where they dramatically beat the
reigning world and Olympic champions from Italy, also brothers. During
the Medal Ceremony that followed, Garry shed a tear or two (so he is constantly
reminded), although he still maintains that the camera did not show Jonny
Searle standing on his foot! In 1993 the trio became World Champions,
again beating the Italian crew.
Matthew and Garry deliver a fascinating double act, replaying the excitement
and the tension that saw Matthew win his 4th Gold Medal.Together they
provide a motivational speech of fascinating insight into the amount of
work and training that goes into becoming an Olympic Champion, yet at
the same time, tell their story in a humorous and motivational way.
"Your presentation and DVDs were informative and highly entertaining
and your natural delivery ensured that everyone enjoyed it immensely...to
keep such a large group of people enthralled was a true reflection of
your Olympic persona."
Accor Hotels - Garry spoke at their annual general managers conference

Duke
McKenzie was born in 1963 in Croydon, South London, the youngest of five
brothers including the former British & Commonwealth Light Welterweight
Champion, Clinton.
During an illustrious Amateur career, he represented his country on many
occasions and won the highly prestigious London ABA flyweight title. Duke
naturally turned professional and in 1982 won his debut fight at Wembley,
which was the beginning of one of the most distinguished Boxing careers
ever known in Britain since the great Bob Fitzimmons at the turn of the
century.
Duke went on to win World titles at three different weights, an achievement
matched by only a handful of fighters in the long history of the sport.
Duke is full of wonderful stories to tell, and is a very good after dinner
speaker.
