Her "Through the Cakehole" (Ch 4) series met with great acclaim, as did her 1996 series "All the Way to Worcester". Her diverse appeal is marked by appearances on such eclectic programmes as "Question Time" (BBC1) "Nevermind the Buzzcocks" and "Countdown" to "They Think It's All Over". She presented "Jo Brand's Commercial Breakdown" (Celador for BBC1) and her series, "Jo Brand's Hot Potatoes" (Assembly Film & TV) was very well received. In 1992 she conquered Edinburgh where she was nominated for the Perrier Award during the festival. She has won various awards over the years, including The British Comedy Award for Best Live Perfomer, which propelled her to our TV screens and nationwide success. Jo has written two irreverent books (both published by Simon & Schuster), "A Load of Old Balls" and "A Load of Old Ball Crunchers", about leading men and women of history plus a novel "Sorting Out Billy". Martin is also an active member of the 'Business in the Community' charity serving 'Leicester Cares' - a volunteering promotion organisation, and 'The National Cause Related Marketing Campaign Committee'. Martin was awarded the Prince of Wales Ambassador Award in recognition of his work in this area (recognising in particular the successful 'Free Books for Schools' campaign which has run since 1992). Martin was also awarded Marketing Week's Chief Executive Award in 2003. When not working, Martin tries to stay fit by running and coaching a
kid's football team. He is also a Director of Leicester City Football
Club. Ian Rose
Ian's sporting and work achievements are a benchmark for
sales, marketing and management teams throughout the UK. His world class
success follows childhood cancer which left him disabled. Typically, he
regarded it After taking up Judo for self defence, he swiftly changed
from being a shy seven year-old who was teased about his thick glasses
into a world-class Paralympic champion. His story is unique because he
reached the In sport he gained his black belt at 17. In the same year,
(1989) he was selected to fight his first Visually Impaired (VI) European
